- You have to make sure that you do not mix too much as they could become aware of the existence of it and they would die before reaching the queen. This would take more or less a week or two.
- Here is a recipe for you in order to make oil spray:
- 1 tblsp of dishwashing fluid
- 1 cup of canola oil (or any other vegetable oil)
Mix above ingredients in a glass bottle and take one tablespoon of this mixture and add this to 500ml of water.
- This can be shaken in a spray bottle and then sprayed on your plants.
- This treatment should be repeated every 10 days.
- An alcohol oil spray would be lethal to any and most insects:
- 250 ml alcohol
- 1 tsp vegetable oil
- 2 pints water
